

Kale mash with Parma ham
A delicious stew of kale, but a little different from what you are used to.



Ingredients:
- 1 bag Cêlavíta Granny's cooking potatoes floury, 900 g
- 500 g kale, sliced and washed
- 2 tbsp butter
- Milk, to taste
- Pepper and salt, to taste
- 70 g old cheese, cut into small cubes
For garnish:
- 8 slices of Parma ham
- 60 g hazelnuts
- 2 tbsp butter
Extra needed:
Oven, baking tray with baking paper, masher
Preparation
Step 1:
Put the potatoes in a large pan and put them just under water. Put the kale on top
on the potatoes and put the lid on the pan. Bring the potatoes to the boil, then cook over medium heat for about 14 minutes until tender. Drain the pan and steam the potatoes and kale dry. Mash the potatoes and kale with the masher and add the butter and milk to taste. Season the stew with salt and pepper and cubes of old cheese.
Step 2:
While the stew is on the stove, the parma ham can be dried; Warm the oven
preheat to 180C. Place the slices of Parma ham on an oven tray lined with baking paper. Bake the parma ham dry and crispy for about 12 minutes.
Step 3:
Bruner the hazelnuts; Melt the butter in a small saucepan, to this add the hazelnuts
add. Bruner the hazelnuts and butter, then immediately spoon them into a small bowl to finish off
cooling.
Step 4:
Serve the stew topped with the browned hazelnuts and butter, the
dried slices of Parma ham and some loose cubes of old cheese.
